Do you know your cockpits?

Here are two cockpits I've recently completed.  Both are plastic, no resin or colour etched parts.  One is in 1/32, the other 1/48.   But to what aircraft do they belong?  They're both Russian,  and that's as easy as I'm making it.

The completed models will be appearing on here soon.  That is all.

At first look with the 'side-by-side' cickpit, one would think F-111. But seeing these up close with the RAAF i notice the differences and the colour scheme. I would have to the it is for the SU-24 ? The single seat cockpit I would also assume a soviet aircraft.

Fencer and Fulcrum ?

Hi Goose and Falke. Yes, the first is indeed the Su-24, nicely spotted. But the second is not the Fulcrum. It is Soviet though. Extra clue - it was involved in the Gulf of Sidra incident.

G'day Phil,

I have come into some books for sale. have a look at my blog and feel free to re-post on your blog. I am helping out the widow of Geoff Pentland (one of the authors) to try and sell these books. my blog is http://gooseramone.blogspot.com.au/

Any help you could offer would be greatly appreciated.

Hi Phil,

The 1/32 cockpit appears to be a MiG-23 Flogger (the Trumpeter kit)?

Thanks,

James
